This single decade rosary bracelet is made of large 8mm dark brown Jujube wood beads interspersed with smaller 5mm spacer beads all strung on an elastic band with a cross shaped bead to mark the beginning. The bracelet has an unstretched inner-diameter of approximately 2 1/2". In Christian tradition, the Jujube Tree has been identified as the "thorn bush" from which Christ's crown of thorns was woven during His Passion. Pilgrims to the Holy Land would take branches of the tree back to their homeland as a reminder of Christ's suffering and love. Jujube wood is a heavy, durable wood.
